Client Overview
This is an exciting early-stage startup operating at the intersection of fitness technology and women's empowerment, building a digital platform dedicated to calisthenics and bodyweight training for a female audience. The company is in active pre-launch mode — developing its app and website — and is assembling a lean, driven founding team to bring its brand to life. With a clear niche, a passionate vision, and a product on the horizon, they are positioned to carve out a distinctive space in the rapidly growing women's fitness content market.
Job Description
You will be the creative engine and on-camera face of this brand at its most pivotal stage — building its social media presence from zero ahead of a major app and website launch. You will own the content strategy end-to-end, producing compelling fitness video content tailored to women interested in calisthenics and bodyweight training, while actively growing a community and forging partnerships with aligned creators. This is a rare opportunity to have genuine creative ownership in a startup where your work directly shapes what the brand becomes.
Schedule
-
Flexible anytime but communication within GMT business hours, 20 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a social media content strategy aligned with the brand's pre-launch and launch goals
- Create engaging video content demonstrating calisthenics or fitness progressions tailored to a female audience
- Repurpose content across multiple social media platforms to maximise reach and engagement
- Manage community engagement by responding to comments, questions, and potential leads
- Conduct influencer outreach and collaborate with other fitness creators to expand brand visibility
- Contribute creative ideas for content themes and campaigns with a high degree of creative ownership
Must-Have Requirements
- Background or strong personal involvement in fitness, calisthenics, gymnastics, or bodyweight training
- Proven experience creating social media video content, ideally involving on-camera physical demonstrations
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience growth strategies
- Excellent visual storytelling and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced startup environment
- High level of attention to detail and brand consistency
Nice-To-Have Requirements
- Bonus if you have an existing presence or following in the women's fitness or calisthenics community
- It helps if you have experience with basic video editing for short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Bonus if you have prior experience launching or growing a brand's social presence from scratch
Why Join This Team?
- Ground-floor opportunity — build a brand's entire social media identity from zero and leave your mark on it
- Part-time engagement with a clear path to full-time within six months as the brand scales
- Work directly with the founders — your ideas and creative direction will genuinely shape the business
- High creative ownership in a role where you set the tone, not just execute briefs
