Job Overview

We are seeking a confident and clear-communicating Cold Caller / Appointment Setter (Financial Services) to join a growing financial services team. In this role, you will make outbound calls to warm leads interested in life insurance, annuities, retirement planning, and disability insurance. Your primary focus is to engage prospects using provided scripts, professionally handle objections, and secure confirmed appointments on advisors' calendars. You will also log call activities and outcomes accurately within the CRM system. This remote position offers a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week during US Eastern Time.

Schedule

• Mon - Fri, 4 PM - 8 PM EST (20 hrs per week)

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to warm leads interested in life insurance, retirement planning, annuities, or disability insurance
• Follow provided scripts while adapting to individual prospect needs and questions
• Handle common objections using prepared responses and book qualified appointments
• Schedule meetings directly into the team's calendar system
• Log all call activity and outcomes in the company CRM
• Ask discovery questions to understand whether prospects are concerned about retirement savings, life insurance coverage, or disability protection
• Maintain a professional and confident tone that reflects the company's brand
• Meet weekly appointment-setting targets as defined by leadership

Must-Have Requirements

• Previous experience in cold calling or appointment setting

• Experience in the life insurance or financial services industry

• Excellent English communication skills with clear and confident speaking ability

• Comfortable following scripts while holding natural conversations

• Ability to handle objections and think on your feet during calls

• Familiarity with CRM systems for logging calls and tracking activity

• Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for calls

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Bonus if you have experience with annuities, retirement planning, or disability insurance products
• It helps if you are bilingual in Spanish and English
• Bonus if you have worked with financial advisors or insurance agents in the past
