Job Overview:

As the Social Media Marketing Specialist, you will take full ownership of paid advertising for a service business that is bringing its campaigns in-house. You will plan, launch, and optimize Google Ads and Local Services Ads campaigns, and support them with Facebook advertising. Your work will directly shape lead flow and return on ad spend. You will take over from an external marketing firm, so you will have real autonomy and visible impact. You will also help turn leads into booked appointments, which takes pressure off a busy team. Schedule: Remote Full Time | Monday to Friday, flexible schedule during EST business hours (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Plan, launch, and manage Google Ads and Local Services Ads (LSA) campaigns to generate steady inbound leads
• Manage Facebook ad campaigns to support lead generation alongside Google channels
• Create ad content and copy that keeps messaging relevant and consistent across campaigns
• Monitor campaign performance daily and adjust budgets and targeting to improve return on ad spend
• Answer incoming lead calls promptly so no potential customer is missed (bonus support)
• Schedule appointments on the calendar, including through the contractor accelerator app where possible (bonus support)

Requirements:

• Proven experience running Google Ads and LSA campaigns, ideally for US-based service providers
• Working knowledge of Facebook ads
• Ability to create ad content and run campaigns with minimal day-to-day supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for handling leads and clients
• High level of attention to detail when managing budgets and campaign settings
• Comfort with phone-based appointment setting; this is a bonus, not mandatory
• Experience marketing home or local service businesses, is nice to have.
• Background in handling inbound lead calls and scheduling appointments is preferred
• Proven track record of taking over and optimizing campaigns from external agencies, is nice to have
