Overview:

Our client is looking for a creative and versatile Video Content Creator & Editor (Short-Form & Long-Form) to produce engaging short- and long-form content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. The ideal candidate must be able to independently identify strong content opportunities from existing event, riding, interview, and talking-head footage while developing hooks, scripts, captions, and recurring content formats. This role will also collaborate with the team and Brand Designer to repurpose content, maintain an organized video library, and support marketing campaigns and upcoming event promotions.

Schedule: Flexible during client's business hours | 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM AEST | Part-Time Role

Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Produce longer-form YouTube/event videos
• Work through existing event and riding footage to identify content opportunities
• Turn interviews into multiple pieces of content
• Create talking-head videos using supplied footage
• Write hooks, basic scripts, captions and video structures
• Select strong moments/clips independently
• Add subtitles, music, graphics and branding
• Repurpose one piece of content into multiple formats
• Organise and maintain the video library
• Develop recurring content formats/series
• Work with the team on marketing campaigns and upcoming event promotion
• Work with the Brand Designer where graphics/animation assets are required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in editing engaging short-form and long-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube
• Strong ability to independently review raw footage, identify compelling content opportunities, and select high-impact moments and clips
• Experience creating and repurposing content from interviews, event footage, riding footage, and talking-head videos into multiple formats
• Solid understanding of video storytelling, including writing effective hooks, basic scripts, captions, and video structures, as well as adding subtitles, music, graphics, and branding
• Highly organized and collaborative, with the ability to maintain a structured video library, develop recurring content series, and work closely with marketing and design teams on campaigns and event promotions
