Our client is a growing California-based life coaching practice specializing in adolescent coaching, anger management, and co-parenting support programs. Having expanded rapidly to a team of dedicated coaches, they are now focused on building a strong digital footprint and multi-channel social media presence to connect with parents, families, and individuals seeking structured guidance.
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, results-driven Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist to take full ownership of our client's digital brand presence and lead-generation campaigns. Working directly with the practice founder, you will design visual assets, craft empathetic and compelling messaging, manage community engagement, and implement targeted social campaigns that turn social media followers into active coaching clients.
This position offers high creative autonomy to shape a mission-driven healthcare and wellness brand from the ground up while executing consistent, daily social media operations.

- Monday to Friday | 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM PST (California / Pacific Time; 20 hours per week
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Content Strategy, Visual Design & Publishing
- Create, curate, and publish engaging visual and written content across social media platforms targeted at parents and family wellness demographics.
- Utilize graphic design tools to produce high-quality, branded imagery, carousels, and short-form video assets aligned with life coaching programs.
- Schedule posts consistently using social media management software to ensure steady audience engagement.
- Stay updated on trending topics in family therapy, parenting, adolescent coaching, and mental wellness to inform weekly content calendars.
Community Engagement, Lead Gen & Performance Analytics
- Execute social media lead-generation strategies designed to convert audience interest into program inquiries.
- Manage community interactions by monitoring and promptly responding to comments, direct messages, and inquiries in an empathetic, professional tone.
- Track, analyze, and report on organic social metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and optimize strategy based on data.
- Collaborate directly with the founder to align promotional campaigns with upcoming co-parenting and adolescent workshops.
- Bonus Scope: Support low-budget Meta Ads or paid social campaigns to amplify high-performing organic content.
Technical Stack & Tools
- Design & Editing Software: Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar visual content tools
- Social Platforms: Meta Business Suite (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube
- Management & Scheduling: Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, or similar scheduling platforms
- Productivity & Docs: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack/Zoom
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Social Media Expertise: Proven track record as a social media specialist or content creator with a strong portfolio showcasing past campaigns, visual graphics, and copy.
- Lead Generation & Copywriting: Strong written English communication with the ability to write warm, persuasive, and family-oriented captions that drive inquiries.
- Self-Management: High discipline and independence to manage daily workflows and content calendars during evening hours without constant supervision.
- Wellness Industry Experience (Bonus): Prior experience creating content for life coaches, therapists, healthcare professionals, or family service organizations is an advantage.
- Shift Alignment: Available to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM PST (20 hours per week).
