Our client is seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Finance Manager to take senior management-level ownership of the finance department. Reporting directly to the CEO and executive leadership team, you will oversee day-to-day financial workflows, enforce robust financial controls, and lead reconciliation processes across multiple operating entities. The ideal candidate combines CPA-level technical expertise with strategic cash flow management skills, ensuring the organization maintains financial compliance, budget clarity, and operational stability.

Our client is a multi-entity family services organization operating across Washington and California. Dedicated to operational excellence, transparency, and sustainable growth, they provide high-quality services to local communities. To maintain strong financial stewardship, enhance cross-entity visibility, and support executive decision-making, they are onboarding a dedicated remote Finance Manager to lead their financial operations.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Control Implementation: Exercise management-level oversight over day-to-day financial operations across Washington and California entities.
• Establish, maintain, and enforce strong internal financial controls, audit standards, and reconciliation procedures.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions to maintain cash flow efficiency and accurate vendor/client ledgers.
• Ensure organizational compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Reporting, Budgeting & Leadership Coordination: Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive and CEO review.
• Monitor cash flow, budget allocations, and financial forecasts to provide clear organizational visibility.
• Partner directly with executive leadership to evaluate financial performance, identify risks, and support strategic growth initiatives.
• Integrate financial workflows smoothly with existing CRM and accounting platforms.

Requirements

• Senior Financial Expertise: CPA-level qualification or extensive senior-level accounting/finance management experience.
• Operational Oversight: Proven track record managing full-cycle financial operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, and multi-entity reconciliations.
• Reporting & Cash Flow Mastery: Advanced capability in constructing executive-ready financial reports, cash flow projections, and budget tracking systems.
• Family/Human Services Context: Experience delivering strategic financial oversight within family services, healthcare, or multi-entity service sectors is highly desirable.
• Precision & Integrity: Meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and strict adherence to data privacy standards.
