Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to bring landscape designs to life by creating detailed construction drawings that guide the build process from concept to completion. Working closely with a team of designers, you will translate creative concepts into precise technical plans, including elevations, measurements, and construction details. This is a long-term opportunity to join a collaborative team where your drafting expertise will directly impact project success and client satisfaction.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST); Full-time, 35 work hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed CAD construction drawings including plans, elevations, and measurements for landscape and outdoor construction projects.
• Complete construction details for designs developed by the design team.
• Produce anywhere from 5 to 20 plans per job depending on project scope and complexity.
• Use AutoCAD software to generate technical drawings that meet construction standards.
• Collaborate with designers and sales team members to ensure drawings accurately reflect design intent.
• Revise and refine drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation for ongoing and completed projects.
• Ability to learn Vectorworks design software as needed for future projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience creating CAD construction drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Experience producing construction details, plans, and elevations.
• Strong technical drafting skills with attention to precision and accuracy.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup for remote work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Vectorworks design software.
• Background in landscape architecture or outdoor construction projects.
• Experience working on residential or commercial landscape design projects.
• Familiarity with architectural drafting standards and practices.
