Our client is looking for a Podcast Producer & Editor to be the driving force behind a brand-new podcast — owning the entire production lifecycle from pre-production planning through to publishing and audience growth. You will guide a first-time host through the recording and editorial process, lead outreach to compelling guests across the health and wellness world, and build a content repurposing engine that transforms every episode into a suite of social media assets. You will have real creative ownership, a direct line to the founder, and the opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up.

Client Overview

This is a growing women's health and wellness brand specialising in cycle syncing products, including a dedicated herbal tea line designed to support hormonal health. The founder is launching a brand-new podcast to establish thought leadership, build community, and grow a waitlist audience in the functional wellness space. The business is at an exciting early stage, with a clear content vision and a passionate audience to reach.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Atlantic Daylight Time (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end podcast production from pre-production planning through final publishing
• Conduct guest outreach to academics, health specialists, and subject matter experts to secure interview participants
• Edit and polish recorded episodes to ensure professional, broadcast-quality audio
• Identify and extract compelling clips from each episode for social media distribution
• Create short-form video reels and promotional content to drive audience growth and engagement
• Collaborate with the founder on episode concepts, scripting direction, and show strategy

Requirements

• Proven experience producing and editing podcasts from concept to publication
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional guest outreach
• Genuine curiosity and interest in the women's health and wellness space
• Creative mindset with the ability to identify engaging content moments for social media
• High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while keeping the founder informed

Qualifications

• Bonus if you have experience with short-form video editing tools for reels and social clips
• It helps if you have prior experience growing a podcast audience from zero or near-zero listenership
• Bonus if you have an existing network of or familiarity with health, wellness, or academic communities for guest sourcing
