Overview
Our client is looking for a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to take full ownership of loan files seamlessly from initial setup to funding. In this role, you will leverage deep expertise in Broker Channel operations and Non-QM lending—including Bank Statement programs and DSCR investor loans—to maintain an efficient, fully compliant pipeline. You will collaborate directly with wholesale portals, underwriter teams, and borrowers to ensure rapid turn times and clearance of underwriting conditions without requiring step-by-step guidance.

Schedule: 8 - 5 PST, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Processing: Take complete ownership of loan files from initial setup and borrower intake all the way through underwriting approval, condition clearance, and final closing/funding.
• Non-QM Expertise: Analyze and process non-traditional loan structures, including Bank Statement programs, DSCR investor loans, P&L-only programs, and Asset Depletion.
• Broker & Wholesale Coordination: Work directly with wholesale lender portals, account executives, underwriter teams, and closing departments to keep files moving efficiently.
• Underwriting & Condition Management: Proactively manage and clear all Prior-to-Doc (PTD) and Prior-to-Fund (PTF) underwriting conditions to maintain rapid turn times.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized pipeline, providing proactive communication and milestone updates to originators, account executives, and borrowers.
• Compliance: Ensure accurate application of TRID, RESPA, TILA, and specific investor guidelines across all broker and Non-QM products.

Requirements

• Experience: Senior-level experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor handling broker-originated loans independently from start to finish.
• Non-QM & Bank Statement Focus: Strong understanding of profit & loss statements, gross deposits, expense ratios, and key qualifying factors specific to bank statement and Non-QM loan programs. (Note: Tax return analysis is not required).
• Full-Cycle Capability: Demonstrated ability to manage complex loan files autonomously without junior supervision.
• Systems Proficiency: Hands-on experience with major LOS software (e.g., Encompass, Calyx Point, ARIVE) and wholesale lender submission portals.
• Communication & Detail: Exceptional written and verbal communication, sharp analytical skills, and rigorous attention to detail in high-volume settings.
