Job Overview
Our client is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Developer to support the development, maintenance, and expansion of a live SaaS messaging platform. Working directly with the lead engineer, you will contribute to backend development, frontend functionality, database integrations, bug fixes, and ongoing platform improvements. The ideal candidate is an early-career developer with solid programming fundamentals, practical project experience, and an interest in working with Rust, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web technologies. You do not need to be an expert in every technology used by the company. What matters most is your ability to write quality code, solve problems independently, and learn quickly.

- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve application performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with the lead engineer on assigned development tasks and technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and Git-based development workflows.
- Gain exposure to cloud infrastructure, containerization, and production deployment environments.
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of full stack software development.
- Practical programming experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, through professional work, education, or personal projects.
- Familiarity with Rust, or demonstrable experience with another systems programming language and willingness to work extensively with Rust.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and web application architecture.
- Experience working with SQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Git, debugging, and collaborative development practices.
- Ability to work in an existing codebase and follow technical guidance.
- Strong analytical thinking, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
- GitHub and/or HackerRank profile demonstrating programming experience.
Qualifications
- Experience or exposure to any of the following backend & frontend technologies: Rust, Actix Web, Axum, SQLx, Python, TypeScript, React, Next.js, React Native, C, or C++.
- Experience or exposure to databases & caching: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Redis, DynamoDB.

- Experience or exposure to networking & authentication: WebSockets, HTTP/2, SAML, OAuth2.
